MedTouch performed an extensive study which allowed us to identify what hospitals are reporting quality measures, patient satisfaction, patient safety and mortality rates. We used U.S. News and World Report’s 2009-10 America’s Best Hospitals report in this study. At the time of the launch of this site we had researched the top 25 hospitals listed in the 16 specialties developed by U.S. News. We will continue to add to this list, and ask you to provide your hospital’s information if it is not included in the list. You can do that by filling out the form to the right.

medtouch-transparent-200During the past couple of years we have really began to focus on how hospitals should be reporting and communicating quality measures and patient satisfaction. This desire has led us on a quest to find out what hospitals are transparently reporting quality measures and which ones have not quite made it to that level of reporting. We believe it is important that hospitals report this information in a transparent easy to use way so we created this website as a resource for hospitals and other healthcare organizations to have a place to come and see where they stand compared to the top hospitals in the nation.

Throughout the site we have provided our visitors with a form to let us know about their hospitals and if they are reporting their quality measures. Please use this form to let us know about other hospitals that are not currently listed.
